BRABUS Opens Its World to Global Audiences With Prime Video Documentary Series

German luxury performance brand BRABUS is set to unveil its story to the world with the release of its first-ever documentary reality series, BRABUS: One Second Wow, premiering on Amazon Prime Video on February 26, 2026.
The six-part series will stream simultaneously across Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada, marking a major moment for a brand that has spent nearly five decades redefining bespoke automotive luxury.

A Rare Look Inside a Family-Owned Global Powerhouse, BRABUS
The documentary follows Constantin Buschmann, Chief Executive Officer of BRABUS, alongside Mili Umicevic, the company’s Creative Director, as they steer one of the world’s most exclusive performance brands through high-pressure decisions, international expansion, and personal sacrifice.

Filmed across iconic global cities including Los Angeles, Milan, Cannes, Dubai, and Bottrop in Germany, the series captures the contrast between the glamour of elite luxury and the relentless demands behind it.
Buschmann, who assumed leadership after the passing of company founder Bodo Buschmann, now oversees a global enterprise employing more than 500 professionals and serving clients in over 100 countries.

Luxury, Pressure and Legacy
Speaking about the production, Buschmann revealed that opening the company — and private family moments — to cameras was one of the toughest decisions of his career.
The series documents the emotional and professional weight of preserving a legacy brand while pushing boundaries in innovation, design, and performance.
Creative Director Mili Umicevic describes her role as turning ideas into reality long before the spotlight shines. From limited fashion collections to world-class vehicles unveiled at exclusive events like BRABUS Signature Night, the documentary reveals the intensity behind luxury perfection.
Engineering Meets Vision
Beyond lifestyle storytelling, One Second Wow showcases the technical mastery behind the brand. Viewers are taken inside the workshops where Chief Technology Officer Jörn Gander and his engineering teams develop high-performance supercars, motorcycles, boats, and mobility solutions that define modern luxury.
The journey builds toward BRABUS Signature Night, the brand’s flagship annual event attended by more than 1,000 VIP clients, celebrities, and international media, where future collections are unveiled.
Produced for a Global Audience
The series is produced by i&u Studios, a subsidiary of LEONINE Studios, with Christian Meinberger as producer and Philip Grabow as executive producer. Direction is handled by Martina Hänsel, known for acclaimed lifestyle and documentary productions.
LEONINE Studios confirmed that the series has already been licensed to Prime Video, with additional international markets under consideration.
Why This Matters Beyond Europe
For African audiences and global creative industries alike, the BRABUS documentary represents more than luxury cars. It highlights how family-owned brands, vision-driven leadership, and long-term craftsmanship can compete and thrive on the global stage.
Producer Christian Meinberger noted that no established German legacy brand has ever allowed such deep access to its operations, calling the series a bold step into modern storytelling.
A Personal Tribute
Buschmann dedicated the documentary to his late father, crediting him for laying the foundation of a company that continues to influence luxury mobility worldwide.
The title One Second Wow reflects BRABUS’ core philosophy — delivering instant emotional impact through design, power, and individuality.
The February 26 premiere also aligns with the 140th anniversary of the automobile, adding historical significance to the launch.
